Sea World Resort & Water Park is located on the Gold Coast in the south east corner of the Australian State of Queensland.
The Gold Coast is a very popular holiday destination for Australians and overseas travellers alike.
Its attractions include some of the world's safest and most beautiful beaches, international standard accommodation, world class shopping and dining, and a picturesque hinterland. It is also Australia's theme park capital, home to Sea World, Sea World Resort, Warner Bros. Movie World, Wet 'n' Wild Water World, Australian Outback Spectacular and Paradise Country.
The Gold Coast is accessible by road, rail and air. It has its own International and Domestic Airport, with Brisbane International and Domestic Airports approximately one hour drive to the north.
Does Sea World Resort & Water Park offer packages including Sea World entry?
Room only stays, Sea World inclusive packages and Three Park Superpass packages are available. Accommodation does not automatically include entry to Sea World however entry to our Water Park is free for all guests. Please note the Water Park is a seasonal attraction open only during the warmer months. The Water Park will close for winter from 27 April 2010 reopening in September.
Is breakfast included in Sea World Resort & Water Park packages?
A full buffet breakfast can be purchased prior to or during your stay at $24.50 per adult. Children are charged $1 per year of age between the ages of 4-13 yrs. Children under 4 are free.
Between what ages does the resort consider a child?
The resort classifies people as follows
Accommodation - Infant 0-3 yrs; Child 4-13 yrs; Adults 14+ yrs
Restaurants - Infant 0-3 yrs; Child 4-13 yrs; Adults 14+ yrs
Kids Club - Children must be over 4 1/2 yrs and under 12 to participate.
Theme Parks - Infant 0-2 yrs; Child 3 -13 yrs; Adults 14+ yrs
What is the weather like and how should I dress?
The Gold Coast has a delightful subtropical climate. Average daytime temperature during summer (December to February) is 28 Celsius. The average temperature in winter (June to August) is a very mild 21 Celsius.
The Gold Coast averages almost 300 days of sunshine per year.
Comfortable clothing and footwear is recommended for your day at Sea World. Hats and sunscreen are recommended year round. A light jacket may be required in winter.

Does the Resort have Suites or Apartments?
We offer Superior Rooms containing 2 double beds, Studio Rooms containing 2 double beds and a small kitchenette, and Family Rooms which are interconnecting Studio and Superior Rooms. Queen Rooms can accommodate 5 people with the addition of a rollaway bed to the existing 2 Queen Beds. We do have a small compliment of one bedroom suites with kitchenette and lounge. Our premium rooms are the Broadwater View Rooms located above the Presidential Room with balcony's over the Broadwater.
What services are available for disabled persons and others with special needs?
We have 3 disabled rooms with an open shower and handrails which also interconnect with a Resort Room. The Resort can also hire additional equipment. Fee's apply. All facilities within the Resort are wheelchair accessible.
Do you have a Smoking Policy?
As of 19 June 2010 all accommodation rooms will be non-smoking.Queensland anti-smoking laws prohibit smoking in areas other than the designated smoking areas. Please refer to the Map provided on check-in for locations.
Where can I buy my Sea World and other theme park tickets?
All tickets can be purchased from Sea World's Resort and Water Park's Tour Desk or purchased as part of a package at the time of making your reservation.

Do you offer an Industry Rate?
Industry rates are available to select Industry employees upon meeting certain criteria including providing proof of employment plus photographic ID on check-in. Please contact Reservations on 1800 074 448. Industry rates are not available during high season periods. Licensed AFTA or TAANZ travel agents are entitled to a 50% discount off the normal admission price. The discount is applicable to the travel agent only and can be obtained by presenting a business card with photographic ID at the theme park ticket booths.
